As some of you may have noticed, I was not around last week, because I was taking a very lovely vacation in the beautiful country of Colombia. If you have not been, I cannot recommend it enough. I especially
vouch for Medellín, which went from one of the most violent cities in the world a few decades ago to an awesome and safe place to visit.
I did get to go to one football match on my trip, between Deportivo Independiente Medellín and Atletico Bucaramanga, which happened to be a Topspiel and a critical match in the league phase of the Colombian league. If you’ve never been to a game in Colombia (or anywhere else in Latin America for that matter) I highly recommend it. The atmosphere was up there with the Westfalenstadion.
Anyway, I promise not to make this a travel blog anymore.
