What is the story about?
The football team added a transfer RB and a special teams assistant coach. Several of UW’s spring sports teams continue to do well. And Dubs is honored. Those and more for your Wednesday Dots.
Football Dots
- UW got a late add to the 2026 roster, former Troy RB Trey Cooley. Cooley was former 4-star RB out of North Carolina. He started his college career at Louisville. He played in 19 games in the 2 seasons he was there, including 1 game he started as a true freshman. He had 709 yards on 145 carries (4.9 yds/carry) at Louisville. He then transferred to Georgia Tech where he played 2 seasons. He had 300 yards on 30 carries with the Yellow Jackets (4.3 yds/carry). He then transferred to Troy to play his final season, but was injured and missed the entire season.
- The NFL Draft is just over a month away. There are lots of draft projections out. This one has Denzel Boston going early in the 2nd round to Tennessee.
- Could Jonah Coleman be headed to the Seahawks?
- UW has hired an assistant special teams coach. Utah State special teams analyst Brett Arkelian will take over for Greg Froelich who left to be the special teams coordinator at Bowling Green.
- UW has released a video promoting the 3rd season of UW football under coach Fisch. Enjoy!
Basketball Dots
