The Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills released their final injury reports on Wednesday ahead of tonight’s Thursday Night Football meeting between the AFC East rivals. Both teams will be without starters for the game, ruling out some top players, especially on defense.
The Dolphins will not have cornerback Storm Duck, safety Ifeatu Melifonwu, and tight end Darren Waller for their trip to New York. Duck has an ankle injury, Melifonwu is dealing with a calf issue, and Waller, the lone offensive player
ruled out for the game, continues to be sidelined with a hip injury.
Buffalo will be without linebacker Matt Milano, who has a pectoral injury, and defensive tackle Ed Oliver, dealing with an ankle problem.
Miami listed three players as questionable for the game. Defensive tackle Benito Jones has an oblique injury, linebacker Chop Robinson has a knee issue, and wide receiver Jaylen Waddle has a shoulder injury. All three were limited in practices throughout the week, with Waddle added to the injury report on Tuesday after being a full participant with no issues on Monday.
The Bills included linebacker Shaq Thompson and cornerbacks Taron Johnson and Cam Lewis on the report, listing them as questionable. Thompson is dealing with issues with both his hamstring and his hand, Johnson has a quadriceps injury, and Lewis is dealing with a shoulder issue. All three were limited in all practices this week.
Miami gave no game designation – indicating they will be available for the game – for cornerback Ethan Bonner (hamstring), center Aaron Brewer (hip), wide receiver Malik Washington (thumb), and running back Jaylen Wright (knee). All four were upgraded from limited participants in practice on Monday and Tuesday to full participants on Wednesday. Bonner and Wright would be making their 2025 debuts if they play in the game.
Buffalo did not give a game status designation for cornerback Jordan Hancock, who as a full participant in practice all week despite a shoulder issue.
Kickoff for the Dolphins at Bills is set for 8:15 p.m. Eastern tonight from Orchard Park’s Highmark Stadium.
