Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies could not hide his feelings when talking about his good pal, Jamal Musiala, and the Germany international’s two recent collapses on the field due to a “neurological absence.”
The Canadian left-back, who has had a litany of ailments himself over the past two seasons, appears to be deeply concerned for his teammate.
“These two incidents broke my heart. The doctors are doing everything they can to help him through this situation. The best thing we can do as a team is give
him positive energy so that he can keep a clear head and fight his way through it. We’ll support Jamal, not just as a player, but as a person. We have to support him as a friend, like a brother. But I know Jamal, and I know he’ll come back stronger,” Davies told Deutschen Presse-Agentur (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Musiala and Davies have been said to be close, so it is not shocking that the Canadian and — surely — some of his teammates are concerned for the well-being of their teammate. Hopefully, Musiala’s issue can be treated properly and the youngster can get back to his old self in the coming days or weeks.
