Per a Spurs press release:
Spurs Sports and Entertainment (SS&E), in partnership with Aramark and presented by Coca-Cola, announced the lineup for the fifth season of the Spurs Culinary Residency Program
at Frost Bank Center. This year, the program has expanded to add an additional spot, welcoming 13 diverse San Antonio restaurants that will have the opportunity to showcase their signature dishes at the arena, offering fans a unique and local culinary experience.
Kevin Barker, Associate Director Culinary Experience at SS&E stated,
“This program is designed to connect fans with the flavors and traditions that make San Antonio so unique. Every game becomes a chance to experience a new part of our city’s food scene, and expanding the lineup means even more opportunities to celebrate local talent.”
Restaurant will showcase their local style at designated concession stands including in the balcony-level concourse at section 217 and at section 6 in the South Frost Club. A new location will feature sweet treats by Slow Boogies at the ULTRA Club in Section 114.
Sari-Sari Filipino Restaurant and The Dogfather were chosen through a fan vote and join the eleven chosen by Spurs Sports & Entertainment.
The Spurs Culinary Residency Program offers the participating restaurants professional development opportunities led by SS&E’s corporate university, bringing restaurant owners and industry experts together through training sessions focused on social media, marketing, human resources and financing.
It is my goal every year to try all the culinary options afforded at the Frost Bank Center. Hopefully, this will be the year I meet my goal.
