Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Texas fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
When we published our SB Nation Reacts survey this week, asking if Texas fans thought the Longhorns would cover the spread, the line was in favor of Ohio State by 2.5 points.
As of today, the spread has dropped a point, with FanDuel currently listing Sark and the Horns as a 1.5-point
underdog. Maybe Mattress Mack dropped a stack on the underdogs?
I don’t think the point change is enough to shift the opinion of Texas, with a massive majority expecting the Longhorns to cover in Columbus.

Since Steve Sarkisian’s hire, the Longhorns are 4-0 in their season-opener and 3-1 against the spread. However, Texas has not opened against a ranked opponent under Sark. But they are not strangers to playing a high-quality opponent early in the season. The Longhorns have played No. 15 Arkansas, No. 1 Alabama, No. 3 Alabama, and No. 10 Michigan in non-conference play, with a 2-2 record but 3-1 ATS.
History favors the Horns. Check out all of the action at FanDuel!
