Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats have now won two straight SEC games as they look to continue to build on the positive momentum from the last few weeks. Which now brings us to a conversation I think
we all thought was long past several weeks ago… bowl projections.
Now, the Cats still have a long way to go with three tough opponents on the schedule in Tennessee Tech, Vanderbilt, and Louisville. But some analysts think the Cats will pull an upset or two to make an appearance in this year’s postseason.
According to Kyle Bonagura and Mark Schlabach of ESPN, they have the Cats making the trip to Memphis to play in this year’s Liberty Bowl. For Bonagura, he has Kentucky facing off with Iowa State, and Schlabach has UK facing off with Kansas State.
Will the Cats make it to bowl season? At this point, it seems like they actually could, but we still have a lot of football left to play. But at least we actually have meaningful games in November.
Go Cats!
