While this summer’s version of Netflix is streaming and getting strong reviews as the series usually does, there is already speculation on who will be the featured NFL played of ‘Quarterback’ in 2027, in a review of the 2026 season.
There is already speculation there would be a major Las Vegas Raiders flavor to the show
The Action Network believes Raiders’ rookie, No.1 overall draft pick, Fernando Mendoza is a favorite to be featured on the show in 2027. The actual lineup will likely be announced early
next year with a streaming date of early July.
I’m buying this projection big time. Mendoza is a natural fit for the camera and he seems like he’d be a willing participant. Plus, Netflix would likely want him after featuring 2025 No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward this summer.
Plus, fellow Raiders’ quarterback Kirk Cousins is a two-time ‘Quarterback’ participant, so he could probably help make a Mendoza appearence happen.
So, let’s roll the cameras.
