It’s all love from Darren Till.
“The Gorilla” is scheduled to throw hands opposite former UFC middleweight champion, Luke Rockhold, atop the upcoming Misfits Boxing 22: “Ring of Thrones” pay-per-view (PPV) event on DAZN this Sat. (Aug. 30, 2025) at AO Arena in Manchester, England.
But Till is not “angry” like some of the other Misfits boxers, even after this clash of craniums.
“Why would I hold any ill will to another man?” Till told MMA Fighting. “Fighting in a respectful manner, respectful sport who
knocked me out. That’s just bitterness. That’s just ego getting in the way. [Jorge Masvidal] won the [UFC London] fight fair and square. Whether you had injuries during the fight or this that and the other, at the end of the day, when history writes itself, no one is going to talk about that. People are only going to take about the win and he won.”
Certainly seemed like ill will was at play in this presser.
“So for me to be holding any ill will, it’s like let’s say hypothetically Luke Rockhold beats me,” Till continued. “Because that just ain’t happening in any universe. Even though I think Luke’s a bit of a wanker, do I start hating on him for beating me fair and square? It’s a sport at the end of the day It’s a very violent sport but it’s a sport. May the best man win, that’s how I take it all. Sometimes we lose and that’s a part of life. That’s what I’m here for. I love fighting.”
Loves fighting, hates dumb c*nts.
Till, 32, is 3-0 as a boxer with two victories coming under the Misfits banner, including his decision nod over Darren Stewart back in May. As for Rockhold, 40, this marks his first f0ray into the “sweet science” after bouncing around the combat circuit over the last couple of years.
