Barcelona trained on Sunday but there was still no sign of Ferran Torres as he continues to battle a hamstring issue that ruled him out of the win over Girona.
Torres returned early from Spain duty and was diagnosed with an overload but was unable to recover in time for Saturday’s game at Montjuic.
Barcelona have confirmed that he trained separately on Sunday, meaning it’s not clear yet if he will be available for their next game on Tuesday against Olympiacos in the Champions League.
The hope is that
Ferran might be passed fit in time for the game but Hansi Flick must still weigh up how many minutes he can play, particularly with El Clasico to follow Tuesday’s match.
Flick has already said he hopes to have Raphinha back for the trip to Real Madrid, while Fermin Lopez and Lamine Yamal made their returns from injury against Girona.
However, Robert Lewandowski, Gavi, Joan Garcia and Dani Olmo all remain sidelined and will miss the two big games this week for Barcelona.
