La Liga president Javier Tebas has offered an update on Barcelona’s financial situation ahead of the summer transfer window.
Barcelona are hoping to return to the 1:1 rule shortly and are hopeful they will then be able to make some key transfers ahead of the new season.
Tebas has been asked about the current situation regarding Barcelona and says Joan Laporta and Co. are making good progress.
“There’s still a long way to go until summer. They’ve made a very important evolution and they structure their
accounts well,” he told Jijantes.
“They’re on the right track, we’ll see if they get there before June 30. They’re in a much better position.”
Barcelona’s treasurer Ferran Olive has previously said the club are confident they will be at the 1:1 rule by the summer and able to give Hansi Flick what he wants in the transfer market.
