How to watch Warriors vs. Suns

The Golden State Warriors return to the Chase Center for a Tuesday night home matchup against the Phoenix Suns. The game will be played at 7:00 PM PT in San Francisco and can be watched on NBC Sports Bay

Golden State is coming off a disappointing road trip where they dropped back-to-back games — first to an undermanned Milwaukee Bucks squad missing Giannis Antetokounmpo, then to the previously winless Indiana Pacers. Against the Pacers, the Warriors led 88–82 heading into the fourth quarter and even stretched the lead to 11 before collapsing down the stretch. Indiana closed the game on a 21-5 run, handing Golden State its third loss of the season. Afterward, head coach Steve Kerr didn’t hold back, calling out his team’s lack of execution.

What to watch for tonight:

Tuesday marks the Warriors’ first matchup against the Suns since Phoenix traded Kevin Durant this offseason. In a move to get under the NBA’s second apron, the Suns sent Durant to the Houston Rockets for a package centered around Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, and multiple draft picks. Although Green has yet to play a game for the Suns while dealing with a hamstring injury, they continue to stay afloat behind Devin Booker, who leads the team with 30.0 points per game.

The Warriors should still have the upper hand in this one. They enter the matchup with an extra day of rest and a perfect 3-0 record at home, while the Suns are 0-3 on the road. Expect the Warriors to push the pace early and try to build a cushion in this one, with the second game of a back-to-back looming tomorrow night against the Sacramento Kings.
