The dust hasn’t even settled on last week’s Homecoming win over Florida. But it seems Missouri fans are ready to put it on a pedestal anyway.
For this week’s Reacts question, we asked y’all if the 45-17 scrubbing of the Gators was Eli Drinkwitz’s best win in his seven years as Mizzou’s head coach. And maybe it’s recency bias or maybe it’s truth, but y’all answered pretty definitively: “Yes.”

took a 180-degree turn from last week, when things seemed pretty glum following the Mississippi State loss.
I will say that I personally voted for Ohio State, simply because beating Florida isn’t all that novel in the Drinkwitz era, whereas beating an Ohio State-level out of conference foe is something to really hang onto. I also think the 2023 Tennessee win has a strong case considering how good that Volunteer team was. Same with the 2022 road win over South Carolina, which didn’t even make the final list.
Can the Tigers keep things rolling against Texas A&M this weekend? The Tigers are still a 3.5-point favorite over at FanDuel, whereas SP+ has them a little more favored. One thing’s for sure: If the Florida win serves as a launch pad for future success, it will certainly benefit from hindsight.
