What to Watch For
- I’m tired, boss. The hard part of the schedule is finally here, and BC has a 1-6 record already. I’m tired already and it’s not going to get better. Louisville, Notre Dame, and Georgia Tech are all ranked opponents that remain on BC’s schedule.
- Injuries won’t even allow BC to get back on track. The injury report continues to look brutal. BC has Daveon Crouch, Syair Torrence, Jaedn Skeete, Ashton Cunningham, Amari Jackson, Cam Martinez, Johnathan Montague, Jaylen Blackwell, Jason Hewlett, and Onye Nwosisi out, among others. They are returning Owen Stoudmire, Ty Clemons, and Kwan Williams at least, three of their defensive linemen who did not play against UConn. But with most of their starting defense out, it seems very unlikely BC will be able to keep Louisville contained at all.
- Grayson James we need you. With how depleted the defense is, the only solace we can take is our offense. If Grayson James can start slinging the ball a little bit now that he has taken over as the starting QB, at least the games might be slightly enjoyable to watch.
Prediction: Louisville 37 Boston College 17
How ‘bout that foliage? I love this time of year in New England. It’s finally feeling cold enough in the morning to wake you up, or make you want to stay in your warm bed. All of the best cinnamon and pumpkin flavored fall treats are ready to eat alongside a nice cup of hot tea. The trees look beautiful and everyone seems to be in a better mood when they’re outside. It’s a shame that I have to watch this Boston College football team, too.
