Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Travon Walker’s foundation is hosting their fourth annual Youth Football Camp on Saturday, May 9th at Matthews Field in Thomaston, GA. The Travon Walker Foundation’s free camp is for youths 11 – 18, where they will be taught “expert-led skills and drills, combine testing, verified performance metrics, and the tools you need to improve your game.”
The foundation stated, “This is more than a camp, it is an opportunity to learn, compete, and be inspired.” Spots are limited
to 150, and will include a t-shirt, refreshments, and a camp bag. The nonprofit was founded after Walker’s NFL rookie season, and focuses on local impact and philanthropy, community care and seasonal giving, access and opportunity for youth, and youth empowerment through sports. They aim to inspire young people and show them “how to use their strengths to identify, plan, and pursue their passions.”
