Will Stein will be working two jobs for the next few weeks as the Kentucky Wildcats’ newest head coach. He will also be leading the Oregon offense into the College Football Playoff.
That means the Ducks
will now have two fan bases cheering them on, as all of Big Blue Nation will be Oregon fans heading into next week’s first-round game. So let’s take a quick look at their path to a National Championship appearance.
Entering the playoff as the No. 5 seed, the Ducks will welcome James Madison to Eugene next week. If they can pull off the win, they will then face off with the No. 4 seed Texas Tech Red Raiders, which boasts one of the best defenses in college football.
From there, they would then have a potential date with Indiana, Alabama, or Oklahoma in the semifinals.
The Ducks have been impressive this season, and now we will see if Stein’s offense can help them string together a few wins to make a deep run.
