I’ve got a feeling the Tennessee Titans are going to beat the Kansas City Chiefs today. It just seems like a bad spot for the Chiefs after losing Patrick Mahomes and getting eliminated from playoff contention last week. The Titans have been dealing with the reality that they won’t be in the playoffs since September. That’s a different mentality than getting eliminated in mid-December with games left to play.
If the Titans do win, it makes it all the more important that the teams around them win so
the Titans don’t fall too far in the 2026 NFL Draft order.
Here is your rooting guide around the NFL today:
Buffalo Bills (10-4) @ Cleveland Browns (3-11)
The Browns currently hold the fourth spot in the 2026 NFL Draft, one spot behind the Titans. A Cleveland win here would be huge to get a game of separation there.
Cincinnati Bengals (4-10) @ Miami Dolphins (6-8)
You should be rooting for a Bengals win here for two reasons; One is that the Bengals only have 4 wins. The Titans have a couple of winnable games in their last three. The second is that the dream of Robert Saleh as head coach and Mike McDaniel as the offensive coordinator gets a little closer every time the Dolphins lose.
New York Jets (3-11) @ New Orleans Saints (4-10)
The Saints were the only team the Titans needed to win last week that actually won. This week we need them to go back to their losing ways to help the Jets get to four wins. New York currently holds the fifth pick in the draft.
Minnesota Vikins (6-8) @ New York Giants (2-12)
The Giants currently hold the first pick in the draft. This is a winnable game for them at home. It would be a great week for Jaxson Dart to have a great week.
Atlanta Falcons (5-9) @ Arizona Cardinals (3-11)
Both of these teams stink. The Titans likely aren’t getting to five wins, so the Falcons are irrelevant to them. The Cardinals are currently sixth in the 2026 NFL Draft. Hopefully, they can pull this one out to move down a little further.
Las Vegas Raiders (2-11) @ Houston Texans (9-5)
I’m glad the Titans played the Raiders when they did. They are probably the worst team in the league right now. Their offense is terrible and the Texans defense is really good. If the Texans get a field goal the game is probably over, but it sure would be nice for the Raiders to get a win.
