The Bills officially have a new punter to compete in training camp after selecting Tommy Doman Jr. out of Florida. It was a highly anticipated prediction that the team would look to add a punter late in the 2026 NFL Draft, and they successfully got one of the best options in the class.
Doman is known for his hang time and booted a 70-plus yarder in 2025. He was widely seen as the second-ranked punter prospect.
This is a pick that makes sense in that he could, of course, be potentially rostered and
win the job. That’s the name of the game on Day 3. Doman has a nose-down punting style and some of the questions on him are his overall leg and ability to field switch. He has a history of holding as well which will be an added benefit as a potential winner of the job in camp. He was a former kickoff specialist at Michigan before transferring to Florida for his final collegiate season.
