Chelsea star Joao Pedro
has been linked with a move to Barcelona in recent days as a potential alternative to Julian Alvarez.The rumor mill is confident that Pedro is on Barca’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window and the Brazilian is likely to have got Catalan hearts fluttering with his latest goalscoring exploits.
Pedro scored a brilliant overhead kick for Chelsea on Monday afternoon against Nottingham Forest to showcase his impressive goalscoring ability.
The Chelsea star now has 20 goals
in all competitions this season for the Londoners despite the Blues having endured a really difficult campaign.
The goal came in a 3-1 defeat to struggling Nottingham Forest in what is Chelsea’s sixth straight Premier League defeat, a result that leaves them down in ninth place in the table and now 10 points adrift of the Champions League places.
Pedro won’t come cheap if he does move on this summer, although Barcelona have been told he’s a better fit for their team than Alvarez by former scout Bojan Krkik sr.
