With the news that the Los Angeles Chargers intended to rest their key starters and veterans, the line for this game jumped significantly throughout the week in the Denver Broncos favor. They are now favored
by two touchdowns, but we know how these Broncos roll in 2025… take the under.
All they need is another win and they will secure the number one seed in the AFC and enjoy a week off while the rest of the conference must duke it out immediately after the grueling 17-game regular season comes to an end.

We’re going to go with a double-digit win here! But only just so. The Broncos tend to play up or down to their competition and while they are certainly capable of blowing out the Chargers backups, I’ll stick with the trend that has held true throughout almost the whole season. Even so, a win is a win and the Broncos take the number one seed on Sunday. – Tim Lynch
Broncos 30, Chargers 10
Every time we’ve expected the Broncos to win by multiple scores they’ve done a great job and grinding out a win that’s a lot closer than it really should be. I’m sure this week is going to be about the same as usual. This should be a huge game for the defense, going against backups, and maybe they can even force multiple turnovers. The offense will look vanilla and attempt to wind down the clock as efficiently as possible, much like the last two wins. So with that being said, I’m predicting a blow out. – Ross Allen
Broncos 27, Chargers 13
The Broncos are dialed in and focused on winning this game. All week they have been speaking to the importance of this game with no sign of hubris or ego. They will not overlook the Chargers. Business will be handled at home and the Broncos will secure the #1 seed in the AFC. – Sadaraine
Broncos 27, Chargers 17
This is a huge game for Denver. As you all know, a victory earns them the top seed in the AFC and the perks of a first-round bye and homefield advantage in the playoffs. Even though the Chargers will be resting a lot of key players, the Broncos need to come out firing on all cylinders. I want to see a strong running game, have Nix play better than he did in the first matchup early in the season, and have the defense finally come up with some big turnovers. I’m banking on all three of those to happen. – Chris Hart
Broncos 23, Chargers 13
With a chance to have the road to the Super Bowl go through Denver, this is a huge game. Before the start of the season this game stood out as potentially huge, and that has come to fruition for the Broncos. Not so much for the Chargers. Justin Herbert and other starters will sit this one out, opening the door for a big chance at earning home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Expect Bo Nix and the offense to be well prepared, and the defense to just keep doing what it’s done all year. – Adam Malnati
Broncos 24, Chargers 10
The Broncos know what’s at stake, and they’ll respond accordingly. The offense will control the line of scrimmage and the game with the running game, which will control time of possession. The defense will pressure and contain Lance while forcing a few turnovers. Unlike the last few weeks, Nix and the offense will convert the red zone trips into touchdowns. The Broncos end their season with a win while rocking the best throwback uniforms in the NFL. – Ian St. Clair
