It’s that time once again, Rumblers! This afternoon, the Buffalo Bills take on the Las Vegas Raiders for an AFL throwback brawl in Week 6. Coming off a huge win in overtime against the Los Angeles Raiders during Monday Night Football just a few days ago, the Bills enter today’s matchup on a short week.
Will the surplus of snaps just six days ago impact Buffalo on the field today at Allegiant Stadium? Not if quarterback Josh Allen has anything to say about the matter. A win today would see the Bills
improve to 5-1 on the season, allowing the team to head into their bye week on a high note.
All they have to do is take down a 3-2 Raiders teams seemingly on the rise under new head coach Klint Kubiak. It’s true Las Vegas has lost two games in a row the last two weeks, but they are not a team to be easily dismissed. The Raiders have quite a bit of moxie on offense thanks to tight ends Brock Bowers and Michael Mayer, running back Ashton Jeanty, and a host of complementary players at wide receiver. That’s all led by steely veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins, who’s played well this season all with rookie quarterback Fenando Medoza politely breathing down his neck.
Perhaps the Bills have another thriller in store for fans this afternoon. Without wide receiver DJ Moore and defensive tackle Ed Oliver, others must step up to fill in featured voids on offense and defense. Will tight end Dalton Kincaid get back on track today? Will running back James Cook III avoid fumbles with edge rushers Maxx Crosby, Malcolm Koonce, and Kwity Paye, plus linebacker Nakobe Dean hunting for the football?
We’re about to find out all of that, and more! With that, here’s your open thread for all the action today during Bills-Raiders. As always, be kind to one another, and in all things… Go Bills!
