It’s still a year until 2026 four-star wide receiver Jayden Petit will arrive on campus for the Badgers, but the heralded recruit is still making headlines entering his senior year of high school.
Petit was recently selected to participate in the 2026 Navy All-American Bowl Game, which is one of the most prestigious honors for high school seniors.
The four-star has had quite the summer, committing to Wisconsin in June after taking multiple visits to Madison to complete one of the strongest wide receiver
cycles the Badgers have had in recent history.
Petit joins four-star Zion Legree and three-star Tayshon Bardo as the wide receivers in Wisconsin’s 2025 class, capping off a strong first cycle for position coach Jordan Reid.
The four-star is expected to join the Badgers next January as an early-enrollee, setting himself to compete early. Wisconsin hasn’t shied away from giving younger wideouts opportunities this offseason, as redshirt sophomore Trech Kekahuna is expected to start in the slot, while true freshman Eugene Hilton should have a role in the offense as well.
Petit kicked off his senior season on Friday night, suiting up for St. John Neumann as they took on IMG Academy Jr. National.
