What is the story about?

Barcelona have now seen two offers rejected by Manchester City for midfielder Rodri but are set to make one final bid for the World Cup winner.

The Catalan giants remain determined to land the Spain star and will make one last bid worth a total of €70 million (€60m plus €10m in add-ons), according to Cadena SER.

The report says that Barcelona remain confident an agreement can be reached for the midfielder to move to Camp Nou before the transfer window closes.

Barcelona saw a second offer of €60 million

plus add-ons rejected this week, with reports in England claiming that City are holding out for €80m.

The Catalan giants don’t seem willing to match that price but are reportedly willing to send in a revised bid in the hope of reaching an agreement.

This week could be a busy one for Barcelona. The Catalans are hoping to seal a €55m deal with Ferran Torres for PSG in the coming days and will then aim to finalise a transfer for Rodri.
