After spending time on Wednesday mostly about the offense, Thursday for the Cleveland Browns was all about the defense. DC Mike Rutenberg spoke, as did DE Jared Verse, with a new DNP leading the injury reports from that side of the ball. Browns fans are not expecting much from their team in Week 2 with their former QB, Baker Mayfield, on the other side of the ball.
Not a lot of news, but some things of interest for Cleveland fans before the final practice of Week 2:

- A couple of other games Browns fans might want to watch: With Cleveland struggling and having the LA Rams’ first-round draft pick, a few other Week 2 games Browns fans might tune into.
- WR Jimmy Horn Jr. reportedly rejoining QB Shedeur Sanders in Cleveland: No official move on Thursday, but the Browns are reportedly bringing in Horn, the former Colorado Buffaloes receiver.
- CB Tyson Campbell did not practice on Thursday, a big concern for Week 2: The defense struggled last week; if Campbell can’t play, it could get much worse.
