Indiana football could be getting some good recruiting news in the coming days.
Turbo Richard, a sophomore running back out of Boston College who entered his name into the transfer portal this week, has received a crystal ball prediction to commit to Indiana
, with 247Sports’ Tony Morrell logging it on Tuesday morning. Morrell is an insider for South Carolina, while Richard is originally from North Carolina.Indiana is set to lose its top two running backs, Roman Hemby and Kaelon Black, to exhausted
eligibility. Khobie Martin figures to have a larger role moving forward and Lee Beebe Jr. is slated to return should he choose to stay in Bloomington.
Richard finished this past season with 749 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on 145 carries, good for 5.2 yards per attempt, while adding 213 receiving yards and another two touchdowns on 30 receptions. He’s built a bit more like a Justice Ellison than a Ty Son Lawton or Hemby kind of back.
