The Seattle Seahawks still have three games to play against the NFC East, and two of their opponents are playing on Monday night to wrap up Week 7.
There are certain games that look enticing when the NFL schedule releases in May. The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles are normally good for some entertaining football, even if one of those teams isn’t particularly good. I don’t think anyone predicted both teams would be 2-4 and that the Eagles would be this depleted after six weeks. By far the most
frightening loss for Philadelphia is quarterback Jalen Hurts, who’s out for the season due to blood clots. This is Tanner McKee’s team until further notice, and while he won’t have Devonta Smith or Dontayvion Wicks, he will have Saquon Barkley in the backfield again.
Brian Schottenheimer’s Dallas Cowboys have surprisingly fizzled on offense over the past two weeks, and find themselves still unable to grasp the idea that they are required to play defense in the NFL in order to win games. At this point, the Cowboys shouldn’t be a comfortable favorite over anyone until they prove otherwise.
The NFC East is pretty weak, but the New York Giants are surprising everyone at 4-2-1, so losing this game would be devastating for either team.
Join us in the comments for a leisurely evening of MNF! The game starts at 5:15 pm PT on ESPN/ABC, but I’m sure some of you would rather watch the World Series. At least that’s been kickass to watch.
