RB Leipzig captain David Raum is well-versed in battling Bayern Munich and can see just how dangerous the 2026/26 version of the Bavarians really is this season.
“At the start of the season, they killed
us, but now it will be a completely different game. Now, the coach has a better feeling for us and how we play – and we have a better feeling of what he wants from us,” Raum told AFP News Agency (via @iMiaSanMia). “It’ll be a tough game. In my opinion, Bayern are one of the best, maybe even the best team in the world right now. Of course, I know the national team players well. I’m always hoping they play well and stay healthy. This weekend I hope they don’t have their best day.”
Raum’s team is going through some ups-and-downs at the moment, which could make things difficult. RB Leipzig quest for revenge will have to happen without midfielder Assan Ouédraogo per Sky Germany’s Philipp Hinze. However, Hinze is also reporting that Benjamin Henrichs will be available for the match after a long stint on the injured list.
