Heavyweights Anthony Wint vs. Terrance Chatman squared off earlier tonight (Sat., Aug. 22, 2026) at UFC Sacramento LIVE on Paramount+ from inside the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. Just 11 days after his victory on Contender Series, Wint secured a first-round submission in his UFC debut.
The ex-NFL player Wint didn’t waste long in trying to wrestle his larger opponent. Chatman defended a double leg and clinch takedown well, but the single leg transition tripped him to the fence. From his back,
Chatman nearly reversed Wint with a kimura. Wint was able to muscle his way free and landed a couple punches from top position. In the final minute of the first, Wint attacked an arm triangle.
The position didn’t appear perfect, but have you seen Wint’s guns?!? After a bit of squeezing, Chatman took a nap.

Two things are clear after this win: Wint is still very raw, and he’s an absolute athletic monster. This pair of back-to-back wins serves to establish Wint as a bona fide prospect. Now that his foot is in the door, hopefully Wint will take some gym time to sharpen his skills before his sophomore UFC appearance. Given a little time to improve, “Bow Down” might turn out to be something special.
