Morning all!
The National League playoffs continue today after both squads facing elimination last night were able to keep their seasons alive with much-needed wins. Chicago got a huge victory in their first
game at home with a close 4-3 victory. The Brewers will get one last chance to knock out their NL Central rivals before they have to head back home. Neither club has “officially” announced their starter but we know that Matthew Boyd will be getting the ball for Chicago hoping to keep his club alive for a couple more days. It could go plenty of different directions for Milwaukee though so keep tuned in to see who gets the ball for them.
The Dodgers are nearly in the same boat as the Brew Crew. The defending champions have a 2-1 lead with Game 4 in Los Angeles this afternoon. We got quite the pitching matchup on tap with righty Tyler Glasnow getting the ball for what’ll be his first postseason start this season. Philly will hope that their young budding ace Cristopher Sanchez can keep the LA bats quite enough to get this series back to Philadelphia.
How does today go? Do we get a couple eliminations? Or will we be treated to some Game 5’s? As always, you who can watch these games are lucky. And to everyone else, have an excellent Thursday! The weekend is almost here!
