We’re less than 48 hours away from kicking things off at Soldier Field between the Chicago Bears and your Minnesota Vikings, and that means we’ve gotten a chance to sit down and talk with one of our long-time friends about this weekend’s game.
Yours truly sat down with Larry Deal from Bears Talk Underground to preview this Sunday’s game in Chicago, where the Vikings are going to be looking for their seventh. . .yes, seventh. . .consecutive win on the road over the Bears. The last time the Vikings lost
to the Bears in the Windy City was back in 2019, and they’ve rattled off six in a row since then.
You can listen to the show in the embedded player below, or you can check out the Bears Talk Underground page on the Bleav Network.
Larry and I talked about how each of our teams fared in Week 1, including how much fun it is listening to Green Bay fans melt down about officiating, and we look at some of the keys to victory for both of our teams for this Sunday’s contest in Chicago.
I’m pretty sure I’ve been talking to Larry more regularly than I’ve been talking to any other podcast out there. . .over a decade, if memory serves me correctly. It’s always a good time talking to him when our teams get together, particularly when they get together in Chicago, where weird things seem to have a tendency to happen. We won’t get a chance to talk again until Week 18, since the NFL has decided to rekindle what had been a tradition for a number of years by bringing the Bears to the Twin Cities to finish out the regular season.
Enjoy the show, folks, and let us know what you think!
