What is the story about?
Notre Dame football and night games go hand in hand. While Ohio State is currently battling FOX over too many noon games — perhaps the Irish play too many night games each season, but they generally play pretty well at night (especially at home).
The Irish welcome the Texas A&M Aggies to Notre Dame Stadium on Saturday for their 40th regular season night game since 2017. Notre Dame is 28-11 in regular season night games since 2017 and 12-3 at home during that same time (home losses to Georgia 2017,
Stanford 2022, Ohio State 2023). In all three of those home losses, they were all one possession games (shout out to Brian Kelly).
