Ohio State is cooking up spring and summer plans when it comes to recruiting.
A never ending effort for this coaching staff, the Buckeyes are in full pursuit of the nation’s best players and that includes targets that are already committed elsewhere. One of the top programs int the country on and off the field, Ohio State has no issue competing for committed players, and that will be no different in the 2027 cycle as well.
Set to host a current Georgia commit later this summer, the Buckeyes will have
Langston Hughes product Kelsey Adams in Columbus on June 20 through 22. The No. 112 player nationally and 11th best offensive tackle per the 247Sports Composite, Adams has been committed to Georgia since September of last year, but is at least keeping a little crack in the door for other teams to creep through.
Five official visits locked in, his summer plans include plenty of opportunities to check out his other options.
A 6-foot-5, 295 pound athlete, Kelsey’s visits has Ohio State slated last and many times the final visit can be a tipping point. Already an impressive offensive line haul for the Buckeyes in 2027 thus far, Tyler Bowen is far from satisfied and Adams will be treated like royalty come June.
Ohio State remains in solid position for their top 2027 running back target
A class that has yet to really add to their offensive weapons, Ohio State will have no shortage of playmakers when all is said and done, and that will hopefully include running back target, David Gabriel Georges.
The clear top priority at the position for their 2027 class, the Buckeyes like every other top school out there are recruiting him hard and look to be in pretty good position as it stands today which bodes well for the long haul. A 6-foot, 205 pound athlete, Gabriel Georges is the No. 10 player nationally and second-ranked running back per the 247Sports Composite, holding the prestigious five-star status.
Offers from 30-plus schools to his name, the two programs that stick out the most are Tennessee and Ohio State currently. The good news for the Buckeyes, it looks as if they are the team to beat in his recruitment right now per multiple insiders and that fits the narrative for how both sides have talked about each other.
One recruitment will have to work until the very end, Tennessee and their NIL abilities are no slouch and while Carlos Locklyn and Ohio State have done plenty to impress already, they’ll still keep working as if they’re not the leader.
The goal to get him back on campus in the coming months. Ohio State will pull out all of the stops for this caliber of player and will remain their top priority this entire cycle.
