One big question regarding the Carolina Hurricanes was, who makes the big club, Bradly Nadeau or Felix Unger Sorum? On Sunday, that question was answered when both players were assigned to Chicago.
Defenseman, Juuso Valimaki was put on waivers for the intent of sending him to Chicago as well.
Seth Jarvis will be put on IR which will remove him from the roster.
Charles Alexis Legault and Mike Reilly will be vying for the 6th defenseman position. Nic Deslauriers and Jesperi Kotkaniemi will fight for the 12th
forward spot. Looks like Eric Robinson will slide into the first line.
The team kept Cayden Primeau rather than subject him to waivers so now they are carrying three goalies for the time being.
What’s next? They still have the issue of what to do with Alexander Nikishin.
