Game Summary:
The stories of the first half were, Darrion Williams came to play with 12 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block – and Boston College turned the ball over 12 times. Paul McNeil was cold 0-6,
but Matt Able played for 15 minutes and had 8 pts, 1 rebound and 2 assists. Terrance Arceneaux also made an appearance (7 mins) and played well, 2-2 from 3PT and 2 steals. BC’s Payne was their hot hand with 14 pts, including 2-3 from 3PT. The Wolfpack lead was as much as 13, 40-32 at the half.
The second half felt much closer. With 9 minutes left, the Eagles cut the lead to 56-53 but the Pack went on a 6-0 run and BC never got close again. Williams had another good half with 10 pts. Final score, 79-71 Pack.
Overall Takeaways:
