Good morning BBN!
The Kentucky Wildcats return to action tonight as they head down to Music City for a date with the Gonzaga Bulldogs at Bridgestone Arena.
Nashville always brings out the best of the BBN, and hopefully that is the case tonight as Mark Pope and his team enter a game that feels almost must-win. The hard part about that? Mark Few and the Bulldogs are really good.
After dropping Tuesday night’s game against North Carolina, Kentucky now sits at 5-3, with those three losses coming against the
only high-major teams they have faced. With two of those being absolute beatdowns and an abysmal performance against the Tar Heels, there is now a lot of pressure on the team as they enter tonight’s game.
However, there may be one piece that could bring hope to the Cats, as it appears Jaland Lowe returned to practice today. Will he give it a go? That is what we will have to wait and find out as we inch closer to game time.
Let’s hope the Cats can pick up a big win tonight, or it could get really ugly in this fanbase surrounding the basketball program.
