EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Malik Nabers will play for the New York Giants on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys.
Nabers has not played since tearing the ACL in his right knee in Week 4 of the 2025 season.
Nabers worked out under the supervision of return to play coordinator Allison Boudreau before kickoff.
Nabers had been clear that the decision would be his.
“It’s my career. It’s my body,” Nabers had said on Thursday. “I know when I’m able to play, and I know when I’m able to do what I want to do.
So, everybody’s got to live with the decision on what I want to do with my career.”
How many snaps Nabers plays remains to be seen, but this is a positive development for the Giants as they open the John Harbaugh era.
Nabers playing means Dalen Cambre, signed to the 53-man roster on Saturday, will be inactive.
Running back question answered
Najee Harris will be inactive. The Giants will have three active backs — Cam Skattebo, Devin Singletary, Tyrone Tracy.
