It’s a big day at Detroit Lions training camp. If the schedule holds, Monday will be the first day with full pads.
The pop of the pads brings another level of intensity of Lions practices, and based on previous years, it could bring out some of the best in players. The offensive and defensive lines become particularly interesting, as there is nothing to hold back from that group anymore. But the intensity rises across the board. The cornerback/receiver reps get more physical, and one of the low-key
most fun drills to watch is the running backs pass protecting against linebackers.
In short, there’s going to be a ton to watch on Monday.
So to keep you up to the second with observations from Day 5 of training camp, we’re going to be providing live updates over on Twitter, over on The Feed, and, of course, with our daily observations on the website — along with daily videos for our Pride of Detroit Direct subscribers.
Here’s where you can catch those live updates on Twitter from Allen Park:

Additionally, you can follow our Twitter list that has all of the Lions beat writers on one Twitter feed.
And feel free to share the biggest updates or your favorite observations in the comment section below by embedding one of those tweets.
Finally, if you are going to practice—or any Lions practice this training camp—be sure to share your own observations over on The Feed. The more eyes and perspectives, the better!
