Earlier today, a new report from Fightful Select indicated that AEW ran an injury angle for Kenny Omega on last night’s (Sept. 3) episode of Dynamite because he has planned time off that includes a trip to Japan. As a result, Kenny is not scheduled to appear at the All Out pay-per-view on September 20 in Toronto.
Omega actually responded to the stories going around about his AEW status by taking issue with the phrase “time off.” Kenny tried to clarify what’s really going on with his upcoming absence
from the ring.
“Time off?
Specialized hospital visits and work that had been planned for a year, but sure, let’s bait the trolls.
I’m just trying to improve what I can and represent the company in a positive way while not performing.
