Hoping to take the series this afternoon, The Athletics take on the Boston Red Sox in the season finale between the two teams. Yesterday’s loss was a tough one, mostly because it was avoidable, but with young teams like our A’s, these glitches happen. Let’s hope they play sound, fundamental baseball and show the splash that we know they have.
J.T. Ginn takes the mound today at historic Fenway Park, He’s 3-6 on the season with a 4.69 ERA over fourteen starts and twenty-one overall appearances. He has
never faced the Red Sox in his career. He’ll go up against Brayan Bello for Boston. The 26-year-old righty is 11-7 on the year with a 3.25 ERA in twenty-five starts. Statistically, he’s having the finest year of his career.
