With 90 minutes to go until the Jacksonville Jaguars kick off against the Denver Broncos in Week 2, both teams released their lists of inactive players.
No surprises for Jacksonville. With B.J. Green II placed on injured reserve, every Jaguar listed on this week’s injury report will suit up today. The list of inactive players is filled with healthy scratches.
Jacksonville elevated LB Jalen McLeod and QB Nick Mullens from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday.
As for Denver, they’ll have LB Jonah Ellis and WR Troy Franklin available, but they’ll be without WR Marvin Mims Jr. and RB RJ Harvey.
Harvey is really the only notable name missing from this game, and honestly, the Broncos should be fine without him. J.K. Dobbins will continue to carry the bulk of the load, and third-round rookie Jonah Coleman has an immediate opportunity to leap Harvey in the depth chart. Coleman is more well-rounded. Even if he doesn’t have the juice Harvey provides to Denver’s offense, he’s a better blitz blocker and between-the-tackles runner.
