AC Milan, Inter Milan wants Kim (Sport Bild’s Tobi Altschäffl and Christian Falk)
Bayern Munich center-back Kim Min-jae could be a very popular figure on the transfer market this summer. While his future is not yet fully determined, his current role as a substitute might not be enough
to satisfy the defender for much longer.
As such, AC Milan and Inter Milan could be eager to bring him back to Italy:
Both Milan clubs are showing interest in signing Kim Min-jae. As for the player, he remains committed and is working hard in order to regain his spot in the team.

Kompany says Dembélé deserved Ballon d’Or (Sky Germany via @iMiaSanMia)
Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany was not shocked to see Ousmane Dembélé’s win the Ballon d’Or:
“Nobody really had PSG on their radar at the start of last season. But they’ve grown stronger and stronger. Dembélé is one of their best players. It’s no surprise to me that a PSG player won the Ballon d’Or. Congratulations! The new season has already begun,” Kompany said.

Rummenigge thinks Neuer could play longer (Abendzeitung’s Maximilian Koch via @iMiaSanMia)
Bayern Munich supervisory board member Karl-Heinz Rummenigge would be perfectly fine with Manuel Neuer staying at the club longer.
“I wish him that. But I’ll be honest: After his serious injury, I initially had concerns. And at almost 40, you’re obviously not as fit as you were at 30. But the way he’s playing right now, Manuel is an absolute asset for FC Bayern. We have the best goalkeeper that European football has to offer. What he has done – and continues to do – for the club is outstanding,” said Rummenigge. “He has taken goalkeeping to a new level. Pep Guardiola even wanted to play him in midfield at one point, but then abandoned the idea. We’ve always had top goalkeepers at FC Bayern – and any successor will have to be measured against them. At some point, Manuel will retire, whenever that may be. Finding a goalkeeper to fill that gap will be anything but easy. I know that today. But until then, we can be grateful that he’s performing as he does”
Chelsea looking for Ter Stegen loan? (ESPN)
Marc-André ter Stegen’s future at FC Barcelona is uncertain at the moment and Chelsea could be looking to swoop in and offer him a place to land:
Chelsea are continuing to explore the market for a goalkeeper, with Barcelona’s Marc-André ter Stegen a potential option on loan. TEAMtalk reports that a move in January for the 33-year-old is a possibility, but competition from clubs across Europe, as well as his hefty salary, could make the deal difficult to secure. The Blues are also reportedly keen on AC Milan’s Mike Maignan, who could be brought to Stamford Bridge next summer on a permanent deal after the club previously looked at him in January.
One cautionary note is that Ter Stegen is attempting to continue his career after back surgery, which can be very difficult. There is at least some risk that Ter Stegen’s best days could be long behind him.

Hammers to make offer for Zirkzee? (ESPN)
West Ham United could be prepping to make a move for Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee:
A move for Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee is being prepared by West Ham United, according to iNews. It is reported that the Hammers want to secure a January loan move for the 24-year-old, who is yet to make a single start this season. But, despite the Red Devils being reluctant to part ways with the Netherlands international amid plans to block squad outgoings in the next transfer window, it is reported that he will look at his options with hopes of playing more ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Zirkzee has little-to-no hope for a future with Manchester United, so a move is on the table. The destination is the only thing in question.

Karl named to UCL Team of the Week (UEFA Champions League)
Bayern Munich phenom (isn’t it nice to write that once again?) Lennart Karl was name to the UEFA Champions League Official Team of the Week:
Bayern to make move for Barco? (Tz)
Bayern Munich is rumored to be interested in Racing Strasbourg left-back Valentin Barco:
While FC Bayern Munich is on track for the current season, the club’s management is already looking ahead to the coming summer. The transfer market is in focus, and Bayern appear to be making plans to strategically strengthen their team. One name that keeps cropping up in this context is Valentin Barco, an up-and-coming talent from the French Ligue 1, as reported by the online portal Fichajes.
Scouts from the German record champions have been spotted at Strasbourg matches on several occasions to assess Barco’s potential firsthand. Barco’s versatility is particularly impressive. The left-footer can play both in central midfield and at left back. This flexibility makes him particularly interesting for FC Bayern, given the uncertainty at left back.
Left-back is an interesting position for Bayern Munich. Alphonso Davies and Hiroki Itō are both dealing with long-term injuries, Raphaël Guerreiro’s contract is up and may no longer be a fit for the role, and youngster Adam Aznou and Frans Krätzig were sold last summer.
There could be a need for a versatile left-back…will Barco be the one?
