These past few days have been filled with news involving signings and trades. This is what happened this Thursday.
Denver Summit FC signs Camryn Biegalski
Defender Camryn Biegalski will add a lot of her experience to one of the new kids in town, Denver Summit FC. The Big Ten Defender of the Year and the NWSL Champion with the Washington Spirit will be part of the 2026 inaugural roster.
“I’m thrilled to join Denver Summit FC and be part of something new in the NWSL,” said Biegalski.
“This club’s vision, energy, and commitment to excellence really stood out to me. I’m excited to get on the field, help build a winning culture, and contribute to the team’s success from day one.”
Biegalski brings championship experience and versatility to Summit FC’s backline and although she is a defender, she can contribute offensively, having recorded two goals and two assists in her time in the NWSL.
Boston Legacy Football Club signs Hannah Stambaugh
Former Angel City goalkeeper Hannah Stambaugh has signed with Boston Legacy after becoming a free agent. The goalkeeper signed a two-year deal and will report with the club in January when the club’s full roster reports for preseason.
“I’m excited, being a part of a brand new team with endless potential and the ability to make a new future,” said Stambaugh. “Before, my team was the same: a new team, and it was very hard. I had a really hard time. But who cares? It’s new. That’s why we can build it – I’m so glad to join this team in its first year.”
Trade alert! The North Carolina Courage and Kansas City Current have reached an agreement
Looking to 2026, Kansas is strengthening its roster, with its newest addition being former North Carolina Courage goalkeeper Marisa Jordan. Jordan has signed a two-year contract and she will arrive at the club ahead of the 2026 season.
In exchange, NC Courage acquire one international spot for 2026.
“I’m really excited to be in Kansas City and be part of a club that is building something special through the people, the staff and the standards,” said Jordan. “I’m eager to keep growing as a goalkeeper and contribute to a team that is aiming high. I want to push myself, support my teammates and help the Current compete for championships.”
