What is the story about?

The Indianapolis Colts (2-6) host the Dallas Cowboys (3-5)(-4.5) at 1 PM EST on FOX in an inter-conference matchup, with both once proud franchises admittedly having seen their better days.

For those watching in, handling the TV duties for FOX will be Adam Amin (play-by-play) and Drew Brees (analyst). This game can also be streamed on NFL+ and YouTubeTV. The NFL TV Map can be found here.

Regarding those Colts fans tuning in, Matt Taylor (play-by-play), Charles Arbuckle (analyst), and Larra Overton

(sideline) will be on the call locally on 93.5 and 107.1 The Fan and 97.1 Hank FM. For SiriusXM subscribers, they can listen to it nationally on Channel 193 (car) and Channel 813 (app).

The Dallas Cowboys rank 7th in the NFL’s most points scored (27.4 avg. ppg.), while surrendering the 27th most points per game (at 26.6 avg. ppg.). Meanwhile, the Colts have just the league’s 26th highest scoring offense (20.1 avg. ppg), and their defense allows the 30th most points in the NFL (at 27.8 avg. ppg) right now.

At Lucas Oil Stadium, the roof and window are both expected to be open. Temperatures around kickoff are projected to be around 54 to 57 degrees and initially sunny skies.

The officiating unit will be lead official Clay Martin and his crew members.

The Cowboys lead the all-time series 11-7-0, and Dallas won the last matchup hosting the Colts, 54-19, on December 4, 2022.
