Clearly, the season is over for the Colorado Rockies as the front office turns its full attention to their rebuild work with a full year of player data to inform their thinking.
But the eyes of the baseball world will be focused on the MLB playoffs, which begin tomorrow. (Look for our discussion thread to post around 1:00 pm.)
In the meantime, I always enjoy the NCAA’s March Madness, especially the first weekend when high-stakes games unfold throughout the day.
I also participate in an informal family
pool in addition to one at my workplace. With that in mind, I thought it might be fun to try that here.
So, on the eve of the MLB playoffs, I present Purple Row’s October Madness! bracket:
You’ll notice points are awarded for each correct series prediction with the winner being determined by the entrant with the most points when the World Series concludes.
