Monday was a rare time where the Braves made some costly mistakes that lead to a 5-4 loss to Seattle despite the Braves being up 4-0 at one point. Atlanta had some bad early luck despite plenty of loud contact, but finally connected for 4 solo home runs to seem firmly in control of the contest. However, Walt Weiss left J.R. Ritchie in the game a bit took long, and the 5-run sixth inning for Seattle that came as a result was all the difference in the game. Disappointing for sure to see, but thankfully
a rare occurrence so far this year.
A fun moment from game was Matt Olson connecting with his 300th career home run. Not only does that put him in some pretty elite company with that power production at this stage in his career, it also is another milestone checkpoint in what could be a Hall of Fame Career.
