The Houston Texans took a hit on the defensive line, as former TCU defensive end Dylan Horton reportedly tore his Achilles during a practice Monday. Horton, a fourth-round pick by the Texans in the 2023 NFL Draft, has made 55 total tackles, 0.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery during his three-year pro career. At TCU, Horton recorded 10 sacks in 2022 and helped lead the Horned Frogs to the national championship game.
An All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in 2022, Horton spent three seasons with the Horned Frogs. Horton, who transferred in from New Mexico, compiled 108 tackles, 24 tackles for loss, 15 sacks, four pass breakups and two forced fumbles in his career at TCU. Horton made four sacks in the Fiesta Bowl victory against Michigan.
