A lot of excitement heading into Week 8 of the 2026 NFL season, especially with the Cleveland Browns facing off with the Pittsburgh Steelersfor the lead in the AFC North. The winner of the divisional matchup will see their playoff and AFC North odds jump up dramatically.
As always in the very physical game that is the NFL, injuries linger as concerns for both teams. Cleveland received some positive updates on Thursday with multiple players, then another on Friday with OT Tytus Howard. Pittsburgh,
coming off their Paris, France, travels, has trended positively most of the week.
The final injury reports have just four questionable players and two ruled out for Week 8’s AFC North clash:
Browns Injury Report – Week 8
- CB Myels Harden – Hamstring – Questionable
- OT Tytus Howard – Concussion – Questionable
- S Daniel Thomas – Ankle – Questionable
Howard’s injury status is notable, as the big right tackle was not allowed to practice all week due to the protocols in place. HC Todd Monken told reporters that he is on track to potentially clear the protocols by Sunday, however.
Steelers Injury Report – Week 8
- WR Ben Skowronek – Calf – Questionable
- CB Brandin Echols – Hamstring – Out
- DB Doneiko Slaughter – Hamstring – Out
Do you think Howard will be able to play on Sunday? How big of an upgrade do you think he is to Dawand Jones, his replacement?
