Kentucky has extended another scholarship offer in the class of 2027, this time to 5-star point guard Nasir Anderson, according to a social media post.
Anderson, a 6-foot-2, 170-pound standout from Prolific Prep in Norcross (GA), is regarded as the No. 1 point guard in his class and the No. 7 overall recruit in the Rivals rankings.
According to Jacob Polacheck of KSR, Anderson has been in consistent contact with Kentucky’s coaching staff, speaking with them nearly every day. UK staff members also got
an up-close look at the rising star last week when they attended a Prolific Prep practice. That workout also featured two more elite prospects: 2026 five-star guard Caleb Holt and 2027 consensus No. 1 prospect Bruce Branch.
Kentucky is beginning to expand its recruiting board for the 2027 cycle, and Anderson now becomes the fourth player in the class to receive an offer. He joins three other top-10 prospects already on Kentucky’s radar, including C.J. Rosser, Obinna Ekezie Jr., and Marcus Spears Jr.
Anderson’s mix of speed, playmaking, and scoring ability has quickly made him one of the most wanted guards in the class of 2027, with Kentucky extending an early offer, it could put themselves in a stronger position to remain a contender throughout his recruitment.
