Tuva Hansen’s time at FC Bayern Frauen has come to an end. After three highly successful years in Munich, the Norwegian international has completed a permanent move to English Women’s Super League side West Ham United with immediate effect, per the report from FC Bayern’s official website.
Hansen arrived at Bayern in December 2022 from SK Brann and quickly established herself as a reliable and versatile presence in defense. During her spell with the Doublesiegerinnen, the 28-year-old played her part
in an impressive period of success, winning three Bundesliga titles, one DFB-Pokal, and two Supercups. In total, she made 77 appearances for the club.
Beyond the silverware, Hansen leaves with deep personal ties to the club. In an emotional farewell message, she spoke of friendships for life, unforgettable experiences, and immense gratitude for her time in Munich. From moments of triumph to difficult setbacks, her journey at Bayern was defined by commitment and resilience.
Bianca Rech, Director of Women’s Football at FC Bayern, praised Hansen’s influence both on and off the pitch, highlighting her leadership, flexibility, and positive character, particularly during challenging, injury-hit phases.
Now, Hansen begins a new chapter in England. And while her journey continues elsewhere, her impact at Bayern will not be forgotten.
