Bernardo Silva’s agent has offered the briefest of brief updates about the Portugal star’s future amid talk of a summer move to Barcelona on a free transfer.
There’s been speculation that Bernardo has all but sealed a deal to Camp Nou, but Jorge Mendes has told Fabrizio Romano as decision has not yet been made.
“Bernardo will decide after the World Cup,” he said.
The rumor mill has claimed that Barcelona need to wave goodbye to a couple of players before a deal for Bernardo can be finalised.
Marc Casado and Roony Bardghji are two players who could be moved on. Monaco are believed to be keen on Casado, while Roony has reportedly attracted interest from plenty of clubs across Europe.
Yet Bernardo is also thought to have plenty of other admirers and could attract more interest at World Cup 2026 with a strong showing, particularly as he is available on a free transfer.
